VIII. Project Abandonment Policy
To ensure fairness and responsible use of time and resources, SOA PR maintains the following policy regarding project abandonment.
What Constitutes Project Abandonment
A project may be considered abandoned if any of the following occur:
The client becomes unresponsive for thirty (30) consecutive days despite multiple documented attempts to communicate
Required materials, approvals, access credentials, or decisions are not provided, preventing work from continuing
Scheduled meetings are repeatedly missed without notice or follow-up
The project is paused indefinitely without a mutually agreed-upon timeline for resumption
How Project Abandonment Is Handled
If a project is deemed abandoned:
SOA PR will provide written notice documenting the status of the project
All work completed up to that point will remain billable and retained by SOA PR
Remaining services or deliverables may be forfeited without refund
The project may be formally closed at SOA PR’s discretion
If a client wishes to resume an abandoned project, a new timeline, scope review, and reactivation fee may be required, subject to availability.
SOA PR is always willing to work with clients experiencing unexpected delays. We strongly encourage proactive communication so that timelines and expectations can be adjusted collaboratively whenever possible.
IX. Changes to This Policy
SOA PR reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
X. Acknowledgment
